Marketing Manager

About the role

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to own how Sonex-Digital shows up in the world — from our website and content to campaigns that bring the right clients to our team. You'll work directly with leadership and engineering, turning the work we ship into stories that resonate with founders and decision-makers.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You won't be handed a playbook — you'll build one, measure what works, and double down. If you like turning a technical, senior engineering brand into clear, compelling demand, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do

  • Own the marketing strategy end-to-end: positioning, channels, and the quarterly plan.
  • Run content and SEO across the blog, case studies, and landing pages.
  • Plan and execute campaigns — email, social, and paid — and report on what moves pipeline.
  • Partner with engineering and leadership to turn shipped work into case studies and proof.
  • Manage the brand voice and keep it consistent across every touchpoint.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in B2B marketing, ideally for a software, agency, or technology company.
  • Proven track record running content and demand-generation that produced measurable pipeline.
  • Strong writing and editing skills — you can make technical work clear and persuasive.
  • Hands-on with analytics (GA4 or similar) and comfortable making decisions from data.
  • Experience with SEO, email marketing, and at least one paid channel.
  • Self-directed and organized — able to own outcomes without a big team behind you.

Nice to have: experience marketing to founders/CTOs, familiarity with design tools, or prior startup/agency experience.
